EL MONSTRUO ESPANOL
Como es?

Scenario:
It’s the year of the scariest zombies, monsters and paranormal activity on television. Today we are having a class contest! Quien tiene el mejor monstruo? As we practice our body parts, we get to submit a contest entry. Our job is to design the scariest (or not...) monster in your collaborative groups.    You are trying to tell your friends about your great monster creation so that he can make it to the Hollywood movie studios!…”

Instrucciones:
1. First, you should discuss with your collaborative groups how would you build your own monster.
For your monster project, include the following:
1. DRAW your monstrtv
2. 8 DIFFERENT BODY PARTS, IDENTIFY THEM IN YOUR DRAWINGS
3. A WRITTEN DESCRIPTIONS:  refer to the paragraph below and fill in the blanks to describe your monsters.  Include this paragraph in your layouts.

Scenario:
"At Howard, we had a class contest to get family portraits done by a professional artist, our class won!  In Spanish, we are almost done with a template of what we want the portraits to look like.  In order to get the information requested by the artist we must complete the order form, it is our job to fill it out as detailed as possible."  
 
Instructions: Using the empty layout below work with your collaborative groups, fill it out with the following: 1. Write all of the information for Family relationship of the person you pick for all 3 portraits (must be someone in your family other than you)  2. Brief description for physical characteristics  3. Description of their personality (use your vocabulary notes) 4. Finally, draw what best represents your idea of your family member portrait (what they like, what defines them, etc.) and make sure to include a colorful layout to the artist to replicate.

"At Howard, we are helping out with the campaign for obesity prevention so far we are having a great response to our efforts!  In Spanish, we are almost ready to print posters focusing on what to do preventing obesity and the health risk associated with it.   You are part of the design team to finish all the poster layouts."  
 
Instructions: Using the empty layout below work with your collaborative groups, fill it out with the following: 1. Write five key recommendations points 2. Each team member should provide a quote with their own opinion about how to best apply the recommendation point.  3. Include the name of each student making for each of the quotes. 4. Finally, draw what best represents your idea in the empty circles and make sure to include a colorful layout.

You probably know all her songs, her performance at the Super Bowl was beyond great!, but do you know a bit about her family members?  They are portrayed below and we are using Beyonce's family tree to learn about how family members are related to each other...  Can you score all 10 points?  ;)   Buena Suerte!



Instrucciones:
1. Go to Blackboard and open the file: Unit 5-La Familia de Beyonce in Notability
2. Use the freehand pencil to circle your answers for the right column.  The answers are always in reference to Beyonce as the main subject.
3. When you finish, focus on the three questions and answer in Spanish

Instructions: Using the empty layout below work with your collaborative groups, think about concepts that should be included as major topics for the poster.  Classify them in order of importance, you should have a minimum of 5.  Fill it your posters individually using the concepts you agreed on and make suer you have all of the following: 1. Write five key concepts on each one of the numbers 2. Write 5 individual opinions about how to best apply the concept.  3. Finally, draw what best represents your idea in the empty circles.
